About TiE
The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) is a global not-for-profit organization focused on promoting entrepreneurship. TiE helps budding entrepreneurs by way of advice, guidance and assistance from successful & experienced entrepreneurs and professionals. TiE was founded in the year 1992 in Silicon Valley USA by successful NRI entrepreneurs and professionals hailing mainly from the South Asian region. TiE has come a long way since then. TiE has now 45 chapters worldwide with 10,000 plus members including thirteen chapters in INDIA, with one in Kolkata which started in the year 2001.
The objectives of TiE are:
To foster entrepreneurship and to
nurture entrepreneurs.
To network and to facilitate networking among members, locally, nationally and of course internationally.
To introduce the concept of entrepreneurship at various levels of education, be it at a primary level or at advanced levels.
TiE wants to create a path for our future generation, wants to make it easier for them to compete with their counterparts at the other part of this world.
