The Honble' Chief Minister of West Bengal Shri Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

B. Business Plan Competition
Was held in partnership with Entrepreneurship Cell, Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIMC) and National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN).
The competition was open to students of all the colleges and universities all over India. The focus was not only on assessing the business concept, but the team's sincerity and seriousness as well.
The jury members consisting of leading successful entrepreneurs selected a few good entrepreneurial ideas from a cross section of students and professionals and helped it take shape through training sessions and funding by Venture Capitalists.
The process culminated in a grand finale in Kolkata during TiEGER, 08.
A 2-day Boot Camp was held in the sidelines of TiEGER 08 to provide training and mentoring on how business plans could be sharpened and translated into a viable business model.
2 teams were ultimately selected to receive the TiEGER Cub Award.
